About The Ultimate Trick or Treat Game Awards
At the UTOTG Awards 2025, we continue our celebration of all things horror in gaming. From creeping cosmic dread to playful Halloween hijinks, our goal is to spotlight and support the Sweetest (and Scariest) Games of the Year. Whether it’s a tiny indie nightmare brewed by a handful of devs or a full-on AAA terror-fest, any game that captures the spirit of Halloween deserves its moment in the moonlight.
We’re still a young and scrappy tradition in the horror scene, with no towering legacy or fancy prestige just yet. But that’s part of the charm. We hope our 2025 winners feel a little extra pride (and maybe a chill down the spine) knowing their work has been noticed, appreciated, and lovingly celebrated through these awards.
To keep things fair, we continue to reject all advertising fees from developers or publishers. To protect our spooky neutrality, we also don’t publicly share contact information, because it isn’t needed for the awards process. All judging is carried out in secret, shadowy, and delightfully somber ways, just as any good Halloween ritual should be. 🎃

Little Pumpkin Jackie – The pint-sized pumpkin with big opinions and a passion for the sweetest treats in gaming.
Grandpa Franken – A grizzled gaming veteran who’s seen it all, rating games with a monstrous sense of fun.
Poe the Dark Bard – The poetic critic with a flair for finding beauty in horror's darkness.
Vampie, the Adolescent Girl – A nocturnal teen with a taste for blood-pumping excitement and scary-good adventures.
